Volunteering at Black Elementary School
Short on time?
No problem! There's a wide range of volunteer opportunities, some as little as one time for one hour.
We need you!
Parent volunteers are a vital component of BES because they directly impact student grades, allow for a whole host of opportunities to occur, become student role models, and provide needed support for the students, teachers and staff.
Connections!
The PTO is always looking to connect parents with volunteer opportunities. Sign-up today and make a lasting difference!

New to Volunteering In CFISD?
As per the CFISD website, "If you are the parent, grandparent or legal guardian of a student enrolled in the CFISD school where you wish to volunteer, you must create a volunteer portal account with CFISD. The steps to volunteer are listed below.
-
- Create a Volunteer Portal Account and receive your account information and password from donotreply@raptortech.com (may take up to 5 business days).
- Contact your child’s, grandchild’s or legal dependent’s campus Community Engagement Liaison to learn about volunteer opportunities.
- Log your volunteer hours in the Raptor Volunteer Portal. All volunteers who have recorded at least one volunteer hour in the current school year will receive an invitation to the annual VIPS Appreciation Luncheon.
- Present your driver's license at the school's front desk each time you volunteer and ask the receptionist to sign you in as a volunteer (not a visitor).
If you have any questions about your volunteer status, please call 281-894-3950."
